Rate:

My rate is $60/hour. I only bill for the time it takes to do your bookkeeping. With each invoice, you will receive a detailed timesheet, down to the minute, of the work I did that month.

How many hours of bookkeeping will my organization need per month?

Basic Bookkeeping: 2-7 hours/month

• Your organization is small, with 1-2 people making business expenses

• You have up to 3 employees and up to 5 independent contractors who you regularly use

• You proactively submit your receipts

• You have 1-2 types of revenue

• You do not sell physical products (including for fundraising if you are a non-profit)

• You need basic financial information and statements

• You have a simple budget that does not need to be subdivided by department or funder

Full-Service Bookkeeping: 7-15 hours/month

• Your organization is mid-sized, with 3 or more people making business expenses

• You have more than 3 employees and more than 5 independent contractors who you regularly use

• You need help remembering to submit your receipts

• You have 3 or more types of revenue

• You sell physical products (including for fundraising if you are a non-profit)

• You need specific financial information and statements, such as restricted vs. unrestricted funds for a non-profit

• You have a detailed budget that needs to be subdivided by department or funder

Our records are a mess. How much time will it take to set up our QuickBooks?:

Don’t worry! I’m here to help. Set up will take 5-15 hours per year of financial information to be entered into QuickBooks. The exact amount of time depends on the volume of transactions and the quality of your record-keeping.
